Position Summary

Prepare project plans for assembly, electrical testing and reliability testing of new microelectronic products. Oversee and manage the start up of new products in manufacturing. Direct and contribute to the development and improvement of processes. Create procedures and travelers for processing of product. Specify configuration and performance requirements for equipment and tooling. Direct the installation and qualification of equipment. Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment. Train assembly technicians and operators. Document results in formal reports as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science, mechanical engineering or materials engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Experienced with the application of SPC tools, capability studies, FMEAs, control charts, etc. 
  • Able to operate a variety of assembly equipment and handle delicate devices.  
  • Familiar with assembly processes, testing of devices and reliability testing.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office software to create documentation, spreadsheets, data charting and analysis and project presentations. 
  • Strong problem solving skills are required.
  • U.S. Person per ITAR definition
