Position Summary
Technical support of the Aeroflex Radio Test sets, particularly the 3920, 7200 and 3500 product line for programming and application support for various technologies including TETRA, TEDS, DPMR, DMR and P25. Provide programming support for customers primarily within the European market place.
The role includes interfacing with Aeroflex engineering, marketing and management, with problem solving of software issues. Main duties/responsibilities will include:

Provision of programming support for various technologies as identified by engineering and marketing.

Provision of technical support at customer sites as needed.

Provision of first line support for product software support for bug fixes, enhancements and new features.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent in an electronic engineering discipline and possess good verbal and written communication skills whilst be fluent in English. The candidate will have experience in programming languages, be familiar with the wireless industry and have an understanding of PMR standards such as TETRA. Previous experience of working in a client facing role within a technical discipline would be advantageous. The candidate should be self motivated with a flexible approach to tasks and have proven experience of problem solving. Applicants should be accustomed to spending time working directly with customers, in addition to interfacing with internal product development teams. Candidates should be willing to travel internationally at short notice and on a regular basis. It is expected that the successful applicant will be based in Germany and willing to work from a home office.
