Position Summary

You will design and develop software for test and measurement applications covering all stages of product lifecycle through to delivery, working on technical challenging world leading wireless standards (LTE-A through to WLAN – 802.11 AC/AD).

Purpose of Role:
Software development for wireless test and measurement applications
Duties & Responsibilities

Design and implementation of software that allows users to make measurements of wireless communications signals.

Working closely with digital and RF engineers to achieve ultimate performance from a given set of hardware.

Working closely with marketing to define software requirements.

Includes design, implementation, test and technical documentation

Will be required to take ownership and responsibility for assigned software

Requirements
Essential Skills
-
Educated to degree standard with an engineering related discipline
-
Have excellent C++ skills and be proficient in Object-Oriented design
-
Previous experience of the design and development of software for products involving hardware and software
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
As the wireless test environment is very technology led and dynamic candidates must be adaptable and embrace new technology
Desirable Skills
-
Experience in software user interface design especially on Microsoft Windows platforms
-
Experience with C#
-
Knowledge of RF test and measurement techniques
-
Exposures to some wireless standards
