MUX85xx Analog MUX Series

The MUX85xx series offers the most extensive line of HiRel analog multiplexers. Built-in de-coupling capacitors, current limiting resistors, and ESD protection simplify sensor telemetry design while saving power, space and weight.

  • Available with 8, 16, 32, 48 or 64 channels
  • Typical 5:1 reduction in PC Board space (80% reduction) MUX Schematic
  • All input channels protected with TVS diodes
  • Built in power supply decoupling capacitors
  • Built in power supply current limiting resistors
  • Optional Kelvin Measurement Configured Channels MUX Schematic
    • Current Source Input is steered to the addressed channel's resistive sensor
    • Voltage developed across the addressed sensor is multiplexed to the MUX Output
  • Radiation Performance
    • Total Dose: 150 or 300 krad(Si)
    • SEU immune to: 90 or 120MeV-cm2/mg

PCS5038Octal10040 CQFP The PCS5038 was designed to provide the flexibility needed to support a very wide range of resistive sensors. It contains eight precision current sources that can be set to source from 100µA to 2mA each with a single external resistor. Any number of the eight current source outputs can be tied together allowing the PCS5038 to drive multiple current source values. 5962-1223201KXC
